Hello Conversationalists!

Summer is almost upon us! As the heat begins to ensue and communities continue to grapple with opening up the public, let us not forget the sacrifices and dedication of the healthcare professionals who have been dedicating their hearts towards saving lives. Aside from the pandemic, the month of May provided much to discuss. From daily alien sightings, to the NBA playoffs, to the conflict between Israel and Pallestine, May was definitely a month for the history books. May being a busy month also proved true for FreeIC! Read on to see what we were up to for the month of May.

Monthly Virtual Connect 5.2.21

We had another enjoyable monthly virtual connect on May 2nd! This connect was a smaller group consisting of 7-8 of us but we still had a great time engaging in conversations and learning more about each other’s backgrounds and perspectives on subjects varying from whether we wanted to know when we died, to the effects of perspective on reality.

We at FreeIC are very excited to share that we have started a partnership with Rotaract 3060 in India! This is our first official partnership with any group in India and we are excited to support the growth of new interactions and conversations within their organization, and within the country itself!

As we continue to establish our partnership and prepare for next steps, Cliff had the opportunity to lead out a virtual session with over 50 of District 3060’s leaders! Together they explored the growth of FreeIC’s relationship with Rotaract, held a question and answer session related to FreeIC events, and everyone was able to participate in a 15 min breakout room session. It was a good time, and we look forward to continuing to grow this partnership.

FreeIC Insta Live Question of the Week

Last month the FreeIC team decided that once a week we would get on Instagram Live together once a week and respond to a random FreeIC question as a way to further engage with our community! For this particular live event we responded to the question, “If you could change anything about the way you were raised, what would it be?” Click this link to see our responses and tell us what you would change in the comments!
