The summer months are flying by but July has been another great month for FreeIC! As we continue to explore different avenues of virtual communication, we have identified new partnerships, created new opportunities for strangers to connect, and we have sparked new relationships within our community. FreeIC Munich Partner Event with Linn-Benton Community College
The “LET’S TALK” event between FreeIC Munich and Linn-Benton Community College was a big success! On July 14th a combination of 19 members from both communities were able to connect virtually and discuss a variety of topics and share life stories/experiences. FreeIC Munich has been very active with virtual events and we are excited to see what their next event looks like! And this is the second cross-organizational event for our partners at Linn-Benton Community College, so we are thrilled to see them branching out to connect with new individuals outside of their community.
Greenhouse Goes FreeIC
We are excited to share that FreeIC has been progressively working with Greenhouse to support virtual engagement between its team members! Greenhouse is a cutting edge software company in the recruitment space that uses their technology to help their customers make great hires. As a large part of their business is reliant on relationship building, it is important that their own internal teams have good lines of connection and communication. To this end, FreeIC was given the opportunity to partner with them and hold some FreeIC sessions for the sake of fostering deeper relationships and stronger engagement amongst their team members. A Year of Conversations & Lifetime Connections with Rotaract Europe
In June of 2019 FreeIC & Rotaract Europe officially launched our partnership as Rotaract Europe’s social project of the year! Having 47 countries, 116 districts, and over 20,000 members, this was one of the largest partnerships that FreeIC had formed for the sake of fostering connections between strangers. In the beginning many rotaractors were likely unfamiliar with who we were and what we were about; however, as they got the opportunity to experience FreeIC for themselves, they quickly became avid fans and supporters of the movement and threw themselves into the process of creating new connections!
With this enthusiasm, FreeIC and Rotaract were able to accomplish so much and have connected thousands of individuals across the globe! Since partnering with Europe, FreeIC has also ventured to connect with Rotaract Mediterranean and Rotaract Ghana. At FreeIC we truly want to create a reality where there is a sign in every city around the world, and Rotaract has been a critical partner in pushing us closer to that goal. So, as our official partnership with Rotaract Europe is at an end, we would like to say thank you, and that we hope to continue to partner with Rotaract Europe on more initiatives in the future.
